SANDPIPER GLASS - Jacqueline Lawton
Jacqueline Lawton is an accomplished glass artist living in Weare, NH with her husband, children, horses and dogs.
She is known for her organic, earthy, and sculptural beads that are full of depth and dimension which is achieved through the complex layering of enamels, gold and silver leaf, foil, copper, palladium, as well as the application of oxidation and reduction techniques.
“Lampworking is a highly meditative process, a constant challenge, yet a very fulfilling one, and for me, it’s something I truly love doing.
Jacqui’s glass work has been published in the “Bead Review 2005: The Year’s Exceptional Art Glass Beads and had appeared in “The Annealer Magazine” 2007 Issue, and “Glass Art Magazine” March/April 2005.
Jacqui is also a massage therapist and an African drummer with Arabalon, a local performance group who plays West African music.
